Sydney Day 1 and 2.. to be cont..

By the time i upload a few photos here.. i was beginning to get sleepyy...
I still have to redesign my studio work, and one more final essay to go till end of school semester. Here are a few of the very memorable Sydney trip me and the other 4 had. We took hundreds of photos, of which maybe half are of buildings and not so interesting to everyone. Think Luad and Pris definitely got pissed because the 3 of us were always stopping along the way to either snap photos of building, detailing or figuring out the building material. Enough people.
Anyway, this trip was really an experience for me cause for the first time, we are doing it the budget way. No tour guide whatsoever, we figured everything out ourselves. From flight, accomodation and whatever other things.. to the planning of what to do there, i was glad i learnt so much about sydney just by doing all these things. Had such a great time! im sure i wanna go there maybe next year with someone else. Took all kinds of transportation, plane, country train, city train, ferry, bus, cab, .. u name it.. only one we didnt take was the monorail.

since we had to be in Avalon airport for our domestic flight, took the train from Geelong to Lara. The best part was me n liz sneaked out of our own house with priscilla tailing us cause we didnt tell the other housemate. haha, with all that noise i was making, especially with the blender, im so sure she could have heard us leaving. Will be back out of nowhere in a week! hehehe..excited to take first jetstar ride!! Smaller planes come with huge turbulences. 2 of us.. ( i shall not mention who ! haha!) almost puked while we were having the worst roller coaster ride ever. I never experienced that kind of rough ride before. Alhamdullilah got out of there safe and alive. Funny part was, just to get distracted, me n yam thought it was so funny, and we were laughing while everyone else's face was 'CUAK'
n
while waiting for Luad to arrive. Spent 2 hours (or more) in the Sydney airport doing nothing, and playing all the lamest games and jokes we could think of. It was still a fasting day, them being so nice, wont eat in front of me n yam .
Got to our hostel, it was my first time living in a dorm. RTC didnt count because i had my own room for 2 weeks. This is really like a dorm ok! It wasnt too bad seriously, i would definitely, go on in my adventurous mode one fine day to do this again . 2nd day-
our sight seeing bus, with top deck open. It was just the perfect day for us. The sun was up, it wasnt scorchingly hot , just nice to have a preview of the whole of sydney. Not forgetting someone almost got hit by a taxi while still maintaining her coffee. imagine that!, Pris fell GRACEFULLY just as a taxi passed by with her coffee on her hand still intact. All the while i was at her back , i thought she got hit. Anyway, nothing really happen, she just skided a bit. If she did... there goes our trip. Stayed in JOLLY SWAGMAN.. its jolly nice isnt it? Little did we know it was near the Redlight district infamous KINGS CROSS, so haha, there were so many unwanted attention around there. But hey, no too bad, cause it was so 'lively' at night.i cant believe we were so brave to walk around the area.

at last, im there!!! near Habour Bridge and Opera house!almost went hysterical, just for a bridge and opera house
next stop, central station to get our next bus to BONDI!!! woohoooo! im finally there at Bondi beach, after all that watching on tv. ehemmm

the weather was so nice.. apparently, this beach is one of the best for surfing, the sand was so fine and white ..it actually hurts the front of the feet haha. I think i should really learn how to swim, and not drown myself, cause im so near all these good beaches , it is such a waste not to actually go in it and have fun.

had a taste of fried mars bar, the only reason i didnt want to try it in geelong or in Torquay was i couldnt finish a whole bar by myself. Since everyone is sharing it.. might as well.

they had these really impressive mosaic tiled benches. i was just awed.

cute pretty pastry shop

got to the australian museum too! well there were soo many things we saw just by taking the bus! Soo many cool buildings that reflect sydney's history.. feels too much like Singapore . The air, the smell, the weather, the people, the streets.. i was relieved. All good photos are in my multiply. After Bondi, that was the last of ramadhan. so we decided to have a nice dinner at Burger Fuel.. really fuelled me up. i was feeling kinda sad, because i wasnt around with family for the usual, malam-raya-tolong masak-pasang langsir-tgk tv-testing kuih-tunggu ketupat masak-. but all was well..:)

n stay tuned...
